Free People Pre-London Fashion week Event

Let's just say, working with Free People is something i'd never thought would happen. They manage to combine fashion, lifestyle and vegan shoes all into one. What's not to love? They asked me along to their Pre-London Fashion Week event to provide some Dust Granola samples bags for their guests to take away with them.

Such a great event and brand to team up with, showing that food and fashion really can go hand in hand!

You can also read about the event on the Free People Blog.  I also featured on their blog with special, bespoke Bonfire night cookie recipe - even if its not Bonfire night, something to russle up to impress!

Always a pleasure, never a chore when collaborating with Free People! After doing a successful event for them earlier this year, this time they invited me to supply breakfast, lunch and a tea time treat for all their press guests at the Spring Summer 2016 collection launch.

In the lovely surroundings of their west end mews showroom, arriving bright and early to make sure everything was in place and ready.. of course trying not to get too distracted by the amazing S/S trends. Keep up with them on their blog!

The Menu:

  • Dust Breakfast Pots with spiced maple apples, winter berry compote and coconut yogurt.

  • Superfood Salad (broccoli, peas, tomatoes quinoa, rocket, green beans, black eyed beans, almonds, poppy seeds and pomegranate seeds. Drizzled with a corriander, ginger, soy and maple dressing).

  • Raw Almond Cookie's with Spiced Toffee apples, coconut yogurt and Dust Granola. (You can find the recipe for this one on their blog! )

Coconut Collaborative

When hummus doesn't make the cut (especially for breakfast) you need an alternative right? For breakfast, lunch or dinner, coconut yogurt suits for more ways than one. I'm more than familiar with the Coconut Collaborative and their products and can't rave about them enough. Many of my recipes include their amazing coconuty goodness. Super creamy, healthy and not full of nasties or additives. DREAM worthy.

I created this super easy overnight parfait, dessert or breakfast, it's definitely a winner. Using their original flavour coconut yogurt and Dust.. this truly is a marriage made in heaven.

So here it is: The Spiced Pumpkin Pie Parfait.. get the recipe here

Native Highs and Dust Granola Lunch Time Retreat

A mamas-to-be lunch time retreat. Taking things back to home soils and staying South East, we have collaborated to bring a magical morning/early afternoon of yoga, meditation and a vegan lunch. Starting off with yoga by Lucy Leonard, followed by meditation by co-founder of Native Highs and reiki master, Fenton.

Each Retreat we also have a mini workshop from a special guest surrounding something we feel all our Mamas-to-Be should know about before meeting their baby. These workshops include breastfeeding, essential oils, vaccination knowledge, home birth information, breathing tips, baby wearing workshops and even a little knitting!

We then close with a lunch made by us at Dust foods. From raw pad thai to warming dahl, each retreat we like to focus on bringing something fresh and seasonal to your plate. Tickets can be found here and take place on alternate Thursdays from 11-1:30pm.
